This page explains how Wealth Engine chooses stories, sources every figure, uses AI and corrects mistakes. If an article on this site falls short of these rules, tell us and we will fix it.
Every number has a source
- Financial figures (funding amounts, valuations, revenue, fees, yields, fund flows) come from primary sources whenever possible: regulatory filings, company announcements and investor-relations pages, fund issuers’ fact sheets and prospectuses, central bank statements, court documents and exchange notices.
- When we rely on reporting by another news organization, we name it in the text and link to it.
- Prices, yields and other figures that move carry an as-of date.
- Deals that are in talks, or reported but not announced, are labeled that way, and we say who reported them.
- We never invent quotes. Analyst price targets are attributed to the analyst or firm that published them. We do not publish our own price forecasts.
How we use AI
Wealth Engine uses AI systems throughout its workflow: to scan the news, gather and read sources, draft articles and check figures against those sources. Articles are published under the Wealth Engine Editorial byline. We disclose this because readers deserve to know how the work is made.
AI tools make mistakes. That is why every article lists its sources, so you can check any figure yourself, and why we correct errors quickly when readers or our own checks find them.
Corrections
When we get a fact wrong, we fix it in the article and add a dated correction note at the end explaining what changed. Minor fixes such as typos are made without a note. To report an error, leave a comment on the article.
Independence
Coverage on Wealth Engine is not for sale. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, they will be clearly labeled on the page where they appear.
Not investment advice
Our investing coverage compares products on measurable attributes such as fees, yield, liquidity and tracking error. It is journalism and analysis, not personal advice. Read the full disclaimer.
What we publish, and when
Three articles every day, timed for readers in the US: the business of AI in the early morning, AI launches in the early afternoon and an investing deep dive after the stock market closes (New York time). Every Sunday we publish a weekly roundup, which is also our email newsletter. More about us on the About page.
